According to a press release from MoA+L, this new tool deepens the museum’s commitment to accessibility, education, and engagement by offering visitors a seamless digital companion that enhances their experience both inside the galleries and wherever they may be.
Designed to complement MoA+L’s immersive and interdisciplinary approach to visual culture, the digital guide gives users access to exclusive content about the museum’s exhibitions, collections, artists, and events. Through a blend of audio tours, artist interviews, video features, and behind-the-scenes insights, visitors can now explore MoA+L’s dynamic programming at their own pace, onsite or remotely.
“At the Museum of Art + Light, we believe that access to art should be as dynamic and innovative as the works we present. Partnering with Bloomberg Connects allows us to expand our reach beyond the museum walls, giving our community and global audiences new ways to engage with our exhibitions and programs—anytime, anywhere.” Erin Dragotto, Executive Director, Museum of Art + Light.
MoA+L sees the Bloomberg Connects platform as a natural extension of its mission to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection through art. The guide provides an intuitive and inclusive interface, complete with accessibility features such as transcripts, alt text, and translation options, allowing more people to engage with the museum’s content in meaningful ways.
This initiative is made possible through Bloomberg Philanthropies’ support of digital innovation in the arts. By partnering with institutions worldwide, Bloomberg Connects helps cultural organizations like MoA+L reach wider audiences and offer deeper interpretive content without barriers.
To access the guide, download the Bloomberg Connects app for free from the App Store or Google Play and search for “Museum of Art + Light.”
