For receptions large and small, elegant dinners, weddings, and corporate meetings, MoA+L offers a spectacular collection of beautiful spaces to make your event one to remember.
As stewards of art, culture, and history, we strive to create a unique and memorable experience for you and your guests while ensuring the preservation of our collections and spaces. To ensure a smooth planning process and a successful event, we have outlined the key policies, procedures, and prices that govern the use of our facilities.

Event Spaces
Museum Atrium
This stunning atrium situated in the “Grand Hall” lobby of the museum is picture perfect for any cocktail party, plated dinner, or social event. Surrounded by glass on multiple sides featuring an artistically designed terrazzo floor beneath a one-of-a-kind multi-colored chandelier, this space is colorful and very well-lit.

Mezmereyz 1 Gallery

Atrium + Mezmereyz Gallery Spaces (Floor 1)
In conjunction with all the atrium amenities, this package allows hosts and their guests to spread out their event throughout the first floor, where cocktails occur in the atrium, and then the whole party moves into our in-house designed Cove and Mezmereyz Immersive Galleries. Hosts will select a featured animated projection show from our virtual library to entertain guests while they roam throughout the space admiring the ‘show’ surrounding them before and/or during cocktails and continue to enjoy this feature throughout the plated dinner.

De Coded + Fine Art Galleries (Add-on)
These galleries, to be paired with the Atrium rental, allow guests access to artwork on floors two and three of the museum. These floors feature three rotating temporary exhibition spaces with a mix of contemporary digital art, and physical fine art objects on view, reflecting and array of media and styles. Exhibitions are on continuous rotation throughout the year. Therefore, please review the current exhibition descriptions on the website for more information.

Fine Art Gallery + Café Azul + Terrace
This package allows guests to enjoy a more intimate experience on floor three of the Museum with views overlooking the Kaw river and Manhattan! The third-floor terrace can accommodate tables and chairs and/or a small musical ensemble. Café Azul has built-in seating, gorgeous décor, and amazing food. The third floor features a Fine Art Gallery with rotating temporary exhibitions of works of art in an array of media. Please check the website for the current exhibition description.

MoA+L Classroom 1
This private space features stadium seating and is perfect for small meetings or presentations.

This private space features four large tables and plush chairs, including a wall-mounted large-screen TV with HDMI connecting to a laptop (laptop not provided) and a poly-com telephone console for conference calls.
